La Zucca

'Vegetarian food in Venice'

As much as one goes to Italy to indulge in salami, prosciutto and ragu, sometimes you search for a more refreshing meal. La Zucca isn't a vegetarian restaurant but more 'vegetable centric'. With many dishes based around earthy flavours such as pumpkin and asparagus, here is where you'll get your fix of verdura.

The restaurant itself is friendly and relaxed. Its atmosphere is welcoming and warm with wooden walls and local art to decorate the interior.

Specialties include pumpkin flan and zucchini and almond lasagne. La Zucca also has an excellent wine menu.
